ra.gem_orientation.flip_plane(gem_ids=None) -> int
The ArtisanGemsFlipPlane command, headless: flips the parametric plane stored in each gem (its Z axis is reversed) WITHOUT moving the stone’s geometry. Use it when a gem’s settings (prongs, baskets, cutters…) come out upside down: after the flip they regenerate on the other side. gem_ids None/empty = the selected gems (the command requires an explicit selection). Returns the number of gems whose plane was flipped.
