As we have seen before, we can create new materials or modify existing ones. In this lesson we will see how we can also save materials and import those that we already have into our project.
From the Materials tab, we can import external materials in two ways:
- From the + icon, press, as we see in the image, Import from Material Library.

- Directly with the right clickon the panel area, and pressing the import option.

Another option is to drag the material from an external folder to any part of the project, even to an element.
To save a material we right click on it, go to **Save to File…**We will save it in the folder that we decide. When we need this material in any project, it will be enough to import it as we have seen before.
