Objective: Start by creating a reference curve for the shank and positioning a 1-carat gem.
Step 1: Go to the “Shanks” tab and select the “Curve” command to create a reference curve.

Step 2: Set the region to United States of America and choose size 7.

Step 3: In the Quick Gems panel, create a 1-carat gem.

Step 4: Select the gem, then go to the “Transform” tab and use the Move command.

Step 5: Enable the Osnap aids, ensuring that Vertex and Mid are activated.

Step 6: Select the bottom point of the gem and move it to the top of the curve.

Step 7: Then using the gumball, move the gem up by 0.85 millimeters to position it correctly.
