Objective: Create a helix to form the shank of the ring.
Step 1: Go to the Curve tab, select the Helix command.

Step 2: In the command prompt, type 0 as the start of the axis and press Enter.

Step 3: With Ortho mode enabled, set 6 millimeters for the axis and click the green line in the perspective viewport.

Step 4: In the command prompt, switch to Diameter mode, set Turns to 1.25, and enter 17.19 millimeters for the diameter.

Step 5: From the front view, select the top as the creation point of the helix.
