Create a Solid Shape

Objective: Learn how to create a solid shape from the curve for the gemstone socket.
Show all Views
Activate all views (1), double click on top, and switch to “Shaded Mode” by selecting the shaded option in the bottom-right corner of each viewport (2).

Extrude the Curve
From the “Perspective” view, select the curve, use the gumball tool (2) to drag the blue circle upwards (2), extruding the curve until it surpasses the shank.


Now that the solid is created.
