A woven eternity ring has no beginning and no end — the metal appears to braid over itself in one continuous loop around the finger. The magic is all in the curves: get them matched and symmetrical and the weave reads as effortless; get them slightly off and the illusion collapses. In this project you’ll build that lattice from a single reference curve, mirror and blend it into a perfect set of four, then wrap the whole structure around a US size 7 finger and channel-set it with diamonds.

Design the Eternal Weave ring using RhinoArtisan.
In this tutorial you will learn how to:
- Build the ring’s reference geometry for a US size 7 finger — a Curve, a Circle at 20.65 mm and a shaped Arc — measuring and centering each piece with Grid Snap and Ortho.

- Generate the first weave curve with Curve from 2 Views, flow it with Smart Flow by Curve, simplify it with Fit, then Mirror and Blend four matched curves from one.

- Dress the curves with Profiles and Loft them into the woven band’s reference surface.

- Wrap the flat weave around the finger with Smart Flow by Curve, then mirror and join it into a closed solid.

- Set 1.25 mm gems with Gems on Curve at 0.4 mm spacing, then cut their seats with Micro Settings — a closed channel and V cutters — using Boolean Difference.

- Add decorative inner profiles trimmed with Boolean Intersect, flow them into place with Smart Flow by Curve, and level the underside with a cylinder Boolean Intersection.

By the end of this project, you’ll have the skills to model a woven eternity ring from scratch.
