10. Add profiles to build the first solid

Open Accessories > Profiles with the PRO08 asset and click Edit: both profile curves to Curve 002, both widths to 1.5 mm. Duplicate one profile onto one end of the model exactly on the center axis and raise its height to 1.5 mm, duplicate the second onto the opposite end, and accept with all four in place.

11. Create and split a reference surface

Loft the outer curves from the Top view and accept the defaults. Split the resulting surface using the solid profile as the cutting object, then select the right-side segment and extrude it by 1.35 with the Gumball.

12. Flow the shank structure onto the ring curve

Create another US size 7 curve from the Shanks tab, and draw a line crossing the surface from side to side — first point at the center of the left end, second at the lowest part, with OSNAP guides for accuracy. Then Smart Flow by Curve: base = the line, target = the ring curve, deformable = the solid and extruded surface. The flat weave wraps around the finger.

13. Mirror and join the shank into a closed solid

Extract the surface that closes the shank (Copy = No) and delete it, then Mirror the solid across the center line with Shift held to keep it aligned. Join both halves and press F3 to confirm the result is a closed solid — the setting work depends on it.
