Trillion Prongs Ring
Close the course with its most sculptural build: a ring whose flowing SubD prongs hold a one-carat center stone and carry pavé of their own. From a US 6.5 ring curve you’ll construct prong guide curves vertex by vertex, blend them into the offset ring curve, pipe them into SubD solids, and bridge and mirror them into a continuous prong structure — with the edge-loop control that separates clean SubD from lumpy SubD.
The shank comes from a Sweep One Rail over duplicated edge curves, dressed with 1.30 mm side gems in micro settings with V cutters. Pavé lands on the prongs themselves, booleans open every seat, and a custom basket — Profile 004, intersecting the prongs at about 82% — secures the main stone before the final union.
