Join into a Single Curve

Objective: Learn how to verify that the four arcs really became one closed curve.
Join
Switch back to the four view layout — the curve should already look like a single curve.
To make sure it actually becomes one, select them all and click on “Join” in the “File” tab.
Verify in the Command Bar
Check the command bar. It should report that four curves were joined into one closed curve.
If you don’t see this message, repeat the process, making sure to use the OSnap guides to position the curves precisely. If their end points are not at the exact same location, they won’t join.
Tidy the Viewport
Keeping the curve selected, move it to a different user layer and set a metal layer as the working layer. This way you can hide user layer 3 to remove anything unnecessary from view.
