Extrude the Base

Objective: Learn how to extrude the outline into the metal base of the snowflake.
Align the Gumball
Go to the perspective view and select the outer shape. Adjust the gumball position again, aligning it with the world plane.
Extrude with the Gumball
Extrude the shape using the gumball:
- Click on the small blue sphere.
- Type
-1.4 mmin the command bar. - Press Enter.
Move to the Metal Layer
Move the resulting solid to the metal layer. The base of the snowflake is done.
