Diamonds and Gemstones
Gem Tags
Gem Tags
The Gem Tags command labels each selected gem with a text tag showing its measures, weight and material.
Select the diamonds and gemstones to tag, or press Enter to tag every gem already in the document. For each gem, a three-line text entity is placed above the stone’s table, on the gem’s own plane:
- The measures (X x Y, in mm).
- The carat weight.
- The compound/material.
The text size scales with the gem so the tag stays legible on both small and large stones. When the command finishes, it reports how many gems were tagged on the command line.
If no gems are found in the selection or in the document, the command reports it and does nothing.
